Moundville Celebrates Native American Heritage Month

November is recognized as National American Indian Heritage Month! The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans.

Our Campground Is Open!

Moundville Archaeological Park has formally re-opened our campground to tent campers (through December 1st when our bathhouse is shut down for the winter) and RV campers (through the winter season, if they have self contained restroom facilities). Check with us to learn about our new Pandemic guidelines and updated cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
