Moundville Archaeological Park is excited to announce that on July 11th, our NEW automated gate will be in operation! This gate will help improve the safety and security of our patrons and the Park.
We also have a NEW Moundville Residents Pass! With this pass, you will receive FREE admission* and a unique code to use at the automated gate each time you enter the Park. To apply, please bring a valid Driver’s License and recent utility bill with your current Moundville address to the Admissions Building. All past and present pass holders will need to reapply to receive a new pass and gate code.

Free admission for the pass holder and their registered dependents (under the age of 18) only.
Persons over the age of 18 must apply for their own pass to receive free admission.
Guests of residents will still be responsible for paying the admission fee.
Any person(s) entering the museum must have on a wristband, including Moundville residents.
All passes must be renewed during the month of February each year; on March 1st, passes and gate codes from the previous year will be invalid.
