Saturday in the Park: Whistle Making with Charlie Mato-Toyela

June 8, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free with regular admission to the park

Join us for another fun and educational Saturday in the Park on June 8!  On this date, Charlie Mato-Toyela will be with us to demonstrate how Native American whistles are made. This is a great event for those interested in pottery, because Charlie will be using clay to make these whistles!

The program will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of or inside the Jones Archaeological Museum. The program is free with paid park admission.

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69. Park admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55 years and older and $6 for students.

For questions, please contact Kayla at kcscott1@ua.edu. We hope to see you at the park!
