Saturday in the Park is a series of demonstrations and presentations related to Native Americans, archaeology, natural history, sustainable gardening and more!
On Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11 am until 2 pm, Bill Skinner will be demonstrating the use of several types of tool and weapon technologies, such as the atlatl and the bow and arrow, as well as ancient toolmaking traditions, such as flintknapping. Participants can take turns practicing with ancient tools and toolmaking technologies. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian to participate, all are welcome to observe.
