Saturday in the Park: Hoop Dancing with Lyndon Alec

Join us for Saturday in the Park as we welcome Lyndon Alec for the SECOND TIME this summer!  Lyndon is a member of the Alabama-Coushatta and has demonstrated Native American hoop dancing at events all over the world. Come out to the park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and experience a wonderful chance to see him demonstrate hoop dancing and hear him explain the meanings behind it. Lyndon is a regular performer at Moundville's Native American Festival, and is always one of the highlights of the stage events! Join us for an opportunity to learn more about this fascinating aspect of Native American culture!

This event is FREE with regular admission to the park.

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69. Park admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55 years and older and $6 for students.
