Saturday in the Park: Copper Work with Bill Skinner

Join us for the final Saturday in the Park event of the summer! On July 6, come out to the park and learn about copper work with Bill Skinner. Bill will be demonstrating some of the ways copper was used and molded as well as discussing the meaning of copper in Moundville's culture.

The program will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of or inside the Jones Archaeological Museum. The program is free with paid park admission.

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69. Park admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55 years and older and $6 for students.

Come join us for this fun, family friendly event!

PLEASE NOTE: This event replaces the cancelled hoop dancing event that was scheduled for this date.
