Camp: Indian Summer Day Camp July Session

$250

Indian Summer Day Camp is a week-long program that teaches children ages 9 through 13 Native American arts and lifeways.  Located at Moundville Archaeological Park, activities include museum and park tours, videos, storytelling, nature hikes, sampling Native American foods, and playing Native American games.  Children will have the opportunity to create several fantastic art projects including pottery, copper jewelry, and a gourd container or mask.  Two sessions are offered, one in June and the second in July that feature identical programming.

Van pickup at Smith Hall on UA’s campus is available, or parents can drop off their children at the park’s Conference Center.

Dates:

First Session: June 3 – 7, 2019

Second Session: July 8 – 12, 2019

Cost: 

Non-museum members: $250.00 (per week per child)

Multiple children from the same household after full price of first child will be $200.00 (Per week Per child)

Museum members: $225.00 (per week per child)
