Moundville Summer Day Camp (June 13-17)

Moundville Summer Day Camp is a weeklong program that teaches children, ages 9-13, Native American Arts and Lifeways. Located at Moundville Archaeological Park, the activities during the camp include museum and park tours, videos, storytelling, nature hikes, sampling Native American foods, learning to play Native American games, creating several art and craft projects, including pottery, jewelry, gourds crafts, and many more. Please do not allow your students to wear clothing that cannot be stained. We tend to get a little messy. Either send another change of clothing or a smock to cover clothing.
